Counterfeit Detection Workshops

The Central Bank of The Bahamas (the Central Bank) advises that it will host four Counterfeit Detection Workshops aimed at enhancing public awareness and strengthening the capacity of cash handlers to identify counterfeit banknotes.

The sessions will provide practical guidance on the key security features of Bahamian banknotes, common counterfeit indicators and best practices for handling and verifying cash transactions. The in-person sessions will be hosted as follows:
